TVS Television Network to Televise Make That Spare, A Night of Boxing, Celebrity Darts and Three Other Sports Television Events at the Silver Nugget Casino in Las Vegas in December on the New Tek Tricaster

TVS Television Network will be televising episodes of Championship Darts, Celebrity Darts, Amateur Boxing, All Star Bowling, Make That Spare, and the Bowling Illustrated Challenge Cup from December 11-14 at the Silver Nugget Casino in Las Vegas. Shows will be seen locally and syndicated nationally.

    HENDERSON, NV, November 17, 2008 /Television PR News/ -- The Silver Nugget Casino. located at the northern tip of the Las Vegas Strip, will be turned into a TV studio from December 11-14 when the TVS Television Network produces episodes of six different sports series that the network is currently producing.

The first epidodes of Championship Darts and Celebrity Darts will be televised from the Pachanga Room at the Silver Nugget Casino on Thursday, December 11 beginning at 7pm.
These are the first of 13 episodes for each series.

On Friday, December 12, A Night of Boxing will be presented at the Silver Nugget Event Center, and TVs will televise the 20 bout Amateur card beginning at 7pm.

On Sunday, December 14 the Bowling Illustrated Challenge Cup will return at 2pm, along with episodes of Make That Spare, and All Star Bowling.

"We are quite pleased with the boxing and the bowling we have televised so far from the Silver Nugget Casino," said TVS Network CEO Charry Kennedy. "Now we're adding our Championship Darts series and that should be a lot of fun as well."

TVS is producing the shows for airing on IPTV channels such as TV4U.Com and Mizlou-TVSports.Com, as well as for national TV syndication to broadcast stations. TVS began syndicating sports programmijng in 1961.

"We are really looking forward to another Challenge Cup Bowling show," added Silver Nugget Casino Bowling Director and PBA Bower Eric Heflin. "The first show was just tremendous and the fans had a great time cheering for some excellent bowlers in a top competition."

All of the TVS Shows will be produced using the New Tek Tricaster Studio production unit. TVS Producer/Director Paul Alvarez utilizes the New Tek Tricaster for all of the TVS sports and entetainment original productions.

"This is truly an amazing production studio," Alvarez explained. "We can produce a six camera network quality production, complete with state of the art graphics and post production editing, on a machine no bigger than a PC."

TVS Television Network productions at the Silver Nugget Casino will continue through 2009.

"We will not only continue to produce our bowling, boxing, and darts at the Silver Nugget Casino, but we're also planning to produce Arm Wrestling,Celebrity Bingo, MMA, and other sports at the Silver Nugget as well. With the Bowling Center, the Event Center, and the Pachanga Room, we can produce any level of show in a quality setting."
