"The Good Guys" to feature Father and Son's Music
5 Alarm Music's independent artists, Forrest Lee Sr. and Forrest Lee Jr., both place music in Fox's comedy series "The Good Guys".
PASADENA, CA, July 10, 2010 /Television PR News/ -- The late Forrest Lee and his son, Forrest Lee, Jr., have both had songs chosen to be featured in upcoming episodes of the new Fox series "The Good Guys" which airs Mondays at 9/8c on local Fox stations.
This father and son duo has been signed on with 5 Alarm Music's independent label Rescue Records for the past few years, Forrest Jr. signing on in January of 2006 and Sr. climbing aboard two years later in February of 2008. The label has licensed many songs for the artists in such shows as "Weeds", "One Life To Live", and "The Office". "The Good Guys" is the second series to showcase tracks from both Sr. and Jr. NBC's "Friday Night Lights" used two separate tracks from the pair in both the broadcast and DVD release.
"My father worked with such legends as Buck Owens and George Jones," said Forrest Lee, Jr. about his dad. "It meant a lot to me to see that both of our music is relevant even today."
"Some say that music can be hereditary, and it sure is in this case," said Cassie Lord, General Manger of 5 Alarm Music / Resuce Records. "We are so proud to have both great talents in our repertoire."
